    Historical Data Issues

    I've got historical data problems on 2 different computers at the moment.

    Can you please clarify the issue you are experiencing regarding historical data and what instrument/expiry you have selected.

      ES 12-23 / NQ 12-23 - Ninjatrader Brokerage CQG Connection

      Both computers the chart data takes ages to load. Then when data finally loads there's a gap for the last 20 mins. The gap starting starting around 9.45EST

        I had issues with my ES data yesterday. I had to delete the ES 12-23 data from my NT8 folder for the minute, tick, and day. Once I did that it was fine. Every other ticker was working except that one.

          I have tested the NinjaTrader Continuum connection on my end and cannot reproduce this behavior. Please reset your instruments and Trading hour templates with the steps below.
          • First, disconnect from any data providers by navigating to the Control Center > Connections menu, and left-click on "disconnect" that appears to the right when hovering your mouse over any active connection
          • Next, reset your instruments by navigating to the Control Center > Tools > Database Management
          • In the Database Management window, under the "Update instruments" section, ensure that "General properties", "Futures expiries" and "Symbol mappings" options are checked and then click Update
          • In the Database Management window, under the "Update trading hour templates" section, ensure that "Predefined trading hours templates" is checked and then click Update
          Next use the steps I have provided below to delete your historical data:
          • Close NinjaTrader
          • Documents
          • NinjaTrader 8
          • Open the db folder
          • Delete the cache, day, minute and tick folders
          • Restart NinjaTrader
          This initial load may take a little longer than normal since all new data is being loaded from the historical data servers.
