Can someone tell me how to change the background color of the Pnl display box to black? I cannot find any way to do it it the properties tab

There are currently no options available to change the background color of the PnL box in Chart Trader.

We are tracking interest for this in an existing internal feature request ticket and I have added your vote to it. This request is being tracked under the number SFT-131.

As with all feature requests, interest is tracked before implementation is considered, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment. If implemented, it will be noted on the Release Notes page of the Help Guide.

Something you could do in the meantime is modify the Blueprint.xml file for the Skin template you are using.

NinjaTrader Skin files could be found in the Documents\NinjaTrader 8\templates\Skins folder. Select the skin you are using on your NinjaTrader 8 platform, then open the Blueprint.xml file.

In the Blueprint.xml file, you could change the color of the PnL background from the <SolidColorBrush po:Freeze="true" x:Key="PnLBackground" Color="#FF000000" /> line of code. This section of code could likely be found around line 562 in the Blueprint.xml file.

Make sure to save the file and then restart NinjaTrader for changes to take effect.

Thanks for your reply. How is everyone's chart trader have the black background with green letters in the Pnl box and on the chart when placing a buy or sell then? Some years back when I used the platform mine was black, thanks

Thanks for your notes.

This would be dependent on the Skin setting you are using on your NinjaTrader platform.

For example, the 'NinjaTrader' skin has a black PnL box.

You could change your Skin option in the Tools > Options > General tab.
