Event based Alerts

Hi
Is there a way to be alerted every time an event happens in ninjatrader? Currently, I only see a time based option (which will not work for what I need).
For example, if volume or delta increase by an input of 100 then I receive an audible alert. The desired effect would be to hear an increase in intensity of alerts as volume traded increased in speed of actual contracts traded.

It is possible to create an Alert that would trigger if the current Bar's volume is more than a prior bar's. Here is an example of how that condition could be set up.

Thank you Clayton. But not exactly what I am looking for. I would like to be able to configure the alert so if the Delta increased by an input value of 100 than I would be notified. The intensity of the alerts would increase as the speed of the delta increased. The idea is similar to the Block alerts in the Time and sales.

Thank you for the update.

If you are referring to using a different indicator, just switch the VOL indicator with the one you are using in the example above.

• You would use the Offset to define your value of 100 or the amount of increase that has to happen for the Alert to trigger.

There is no way to make the "Intensity" or "Speed" of the alert change as the alert progressively triggers more. It would trigger with the same actions every time it is triggered.


If you are wanting to get more complex than that, you would want to look into creating a NinjaScript Strategy that alerts you as desired.
