Trading Session Warning

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Ninja Trader and currently trading paper. I'm trying to configure Ninja Trader to give a warning/message/countdown/etc when the trading session is almost over, so I don't end up holding futures contracts overnight and getting a potential margin call. I live in the Netherlands and due to timezone differences it is easy to loose track of time and end up outside of the trading session. Can Ninja Trader be configured to make it easy to keep track of the day and night session? I'm not technical, so could you please explain it to me like i'm a boomer?

Control Center > Tools > Options > Trading > Auto close position

Thanks for your post.

As bltdavid mentioned, NinjaTrader can be set to automatically attempt to close a position at a designated time that is configured in the Tools > Options > Trading menu, you can also add instruments through the NinjaTrader trading interfaces via right click and selecting Auto close position.
