Fees based on # of Contracts or Trades?

I don't know if this is the correct place for this so please forgive me.
I'm building a Future's Trading log and I want to calculate trading fees. So I'm curious, the $0.52 for MNQ (Exchange, NFA, Clearing) is that PER contract or per trade? So, If I bought 1 contract...it's $0.52 sell it, it's $0.52...If I buy 10 contracts is that $5.20 each way or it still a single trade? I haven't purchased more than one contract yet so I couldn't look it up in my fees.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello dniezby,

These fees are "per contract". You can view this at the link below.

In the blue "Itemized Fees" header, it includes "Per contract fees".

Jason, thanks a lot for this info.

      Though, things aren't adding up.

For example, This is my info from a simulated trade (so I could work out the formulas for my trading journal) on the MNQ
Market pos. Qty Entry price Exit price Entry time Exit time Entry name Exit name Profit Cum. net profit Commission MAE MFE ETD
      Long 2 14908.25 14913.5 9/24/2023 19:26 9/24/2023 19:37 $19.60 $19.60 $1.40 $21.00 $21.00 $1.40

You will see that the commission I was charged was $1.40
According to the sheet you shared above, my commissions should have been 1.74? ($0.87 each direction) Then I thought, since I'm paying for CME subscription, I thought that I might be getting the monthly rate however, that's $0.77 which would be $1.54 round trip.

What am I getting wrong here. Cause the formula's I'm writing keep coming up with different amounts than the actual platform reports
Also, what are : MAE, MFE, ETD?

Can you please go to the Accounts tab in the Control Center->Right click on the Sim101 account->Edit Account and tell me what Commission template you have selected. Also can you tell me what instrument you are trading when you see this fee of $1.40.

I have included a link below to our Help Guide that goes over MAE, MFE and ETD statistic definitions:

Thanks again for the link to definitions. I'll check it out.
As for the instrument, it was MNQ.
I traded 2 contracts, and that paste was directly from the Executions then export

I just went to the Control Center>Right click on Simulation (I don't show a SIM101 account. There is no Edit account option. As you should be able to see in my screencap Click image for larger version

Okay, I think I may have found out what is going on. The commissions only list the individual commission, not the fees. So, 2 contract $0.35 each = $0.70 or $1.40 round trip. But I don't see any listing of the Exchange/NFA and Clearing fees. But that will reflect in my running balance, correct? So but those are both ways, but they don't change based on the number of contracts, or do they? So for my trade journal I'll need a column for the commissions and a separate column for the fees?

Correct currently the Trade Performance for the Tradovate based accounts will only include commissions and do not include Exchange/NFA and Clearing fees therefore these would need to be added manually within your excel worksheet.

Let me know if I may be of further assistance.

Thanks again...I just wish I'd started my account at Ninja Trader now. I'm only using NT software and website anyway.

Oohh...I did forget to ask one thing. So, even though those other fees don't show up, they will reflect immediately in my account balance correct? Especially in my realized and actual columns in the report.

Thanks. And are those (Fees) also based on the number of contracts? So, for example I buy 2 contracts. That's $0.35 x2 commission. The Exchange $0.37 and NFA is $.015 x2 as well? And in each direction of the trade. So, when I buy it and sell it and vice versa?? So a two contract buy then sell will be total of $3.48 in commissions and fees. Just finalizing the formula.

That is correct the fees are based on the number contracts traded same as commissions.
