Custom sounds

Hi,

I created some custom sound alerts. Used voice recording then converted to wav files. Downloaded then added them to Programfiles/Ninjatrader/sounds..Inserted into indicator properties as name of file.wav ..Not playing when conditions arise. Sound file does play on windows player. Any idea on why not playing?

Thank you for the update.

I searched our system for a message from the email that was used to create your Forum Username and I do not see any messages within our system connected to that email address.

After further investigation, I have found that .WAV files for NinjaTrader need to be saved in a PCM format.

• If you are not sure how to do that or check if you did, you would need to do some internet searches for more information on that as creating and editing sound files is beyond the scope of NinjaTrader support.

If the files are not working for your NinjaTrader platform, they probably won't work in ours, but you are still welcome to email us the sound files if you would like us to double-check.

I just looked again and your message is still not within our system.

• If you want us to test these files, you would need to send it again and make sure it was sent to Support[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]com with the respective @ and .

I would suggest that you look into the .Wav files you made and make sure you created them using PCM format. If not, export them again using PCM and then try using the .wav files in NinjaTrader again.
