    NT doesn't open

    Hi,

    I am trading on an old computer with an Uprofit account already.

    Now I set up a computer in the cloud for two reasons, one is to leave strategies running, and the other is to have an NT backup so I don't lose the whole NT configuration, strategies, etc.

    I downloaded the NT platform, which I have installed on the new computer. I ran NT and when I was asked to log in, I used the Gmail account I am using actually, what appears as a message on the Simulation window saying "expired account",

    So, I created a new Gmail account and used it to join the Ninjatrader website, again I downloaded it (in case it was a different version) and installed it, but when I keyed in the user ID and password, it accepted (because I tried with a wrong password, and says that it is wrong) and unfortunately the NT platform doesn't open.

    Could you please let me know what could be the reason or what I am doing wrong?

      Hi Christopher,

      Thank you for your response.

      I have reset the password I when to the new computer on the cloud, key in the user ID and new password, and unfortunately still the same, NT doesn't open

        So I may look into this further please send an email to platformsupport [AT] ninjatrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Chris Jameson" in the subject line.

        In the message, please include the following:
        1.) A link to this forum thread.
        2.) A copy of your log and trace files.

        Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your email.
        • Open your NinjaTrader folder under, "Documents" (sometimes called, "My Documents")
        • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
        • Send the 2 compressed folders as an attachment in your email
        • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

          Hi Christopher,

          I have downloaded the previous version of NT (8.0.28.0) and at least now opens and it is running. I will now set it up and see what happens, but I suppose I will have no problem, so there is an issue with the new version (8.1.1.7).

          Once the issue is fixed I would appreciate it if you let it know.

            Resolved. It was a problem with the computer resources. I have added additional Core and Memory and now NT opens and it is working..
