WTF am I doing wrong? (RE:ATM Setup)

    WTF am I doing wrong? (RE:ATM Setup)

    So, I set up this ATM. Pretty simple.
    I want to set a stoploss at $40 and a take profit at $200 (I'm currently trading the micros)
    Seems pretty simple...

    However, when I go to the chart, select "buy limit" is places an order where I want it but it doesn't place the stop or profit. In fact, If I place the order and it hits the initial entry, it immediately triggers the stop? I've tried using all of the buttons on the chart trader panel and all the right click types of orders. None of them set the stop and the profit.
    I'm very familiar with ATM and on the web I use this for everything...In the desktop app (which, to be honest, I'm still in learning mode) I cannot get it to work as expected. Unless I'm setting it up wrong in the desktop.​

    Thanks in advance as I know someone is going to point out something obvious that I completely missed.

    Your setup seems totally normal and should trigger as you are expecting. There may be something happening quickly as these Entries are being filled with this specific strategy that we can investigate fully with you through email.

    What are the specific Order IDs and times that this occurred on your platform? You may view this information in the Control Center > Orders window or in the New > Trade Performance > Trades window if they are no longer listed there.​

    Please write to [email protected] along with your log and trace files and a link to this forum post. In your response, please include 'ATTN Justin' in the subject line so it arrives in my inbox. Please do not upload these files to the forums as they may consist of personal information and will be removed.

    Follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your response so I may investigate this matter further.
    • Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
    • Right-click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
    • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
