Net Framework Issue

I run NT8 on 2 machines and had to reinstall exerything on one machine. To save time reinstalling heaps of indicators etc I copied the Ninjatrader8 directory from one machine to the other.

Everything seems to work fine, but when I try to compile anything I get the following errors.

Error

Metadata file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Reference Assemblies\Microsoft\Framework\.NETFramework\v4.7. 2\mscorlib.dll' could not be found

Metadata file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Reference Assemblies\Microsoft\Framework\.NETFramework\v4.7. 2\System.Data.DataSetExtensions.dll' could not be found

I can't go back to v4.7.2

Is there some way to point NT8 to the up to date files?

Thank you for posting.

If you right click in the window->References->Do you see these two references listed? If so please remove these two references then compile once again.

If you do not see these two references listed please click add->add the two references then compile again.

Are you talking about the window where the errors show. I don't see the options you refer to. I have tried 'Exclude from compilation' but nothing happens.

Correct to access the References option you will want to right click in the code window above where the errors are displayed and select References from the list of options.

Hi Christopher,

You can see my right click options on the above where the black overlays the orange. References is not an option, and neither of the exclude from compilation options work.

I am using version 8.1.1.7 64 bit

Can you please attach a screenshot of what you are seeing so I may further assist.

To capture a screenshot I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.

Alternatively to capture a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and attach the file to your reply.
