Apex/NT 8.0.28

Hi..I .plan to open an Apex account. I currently have a leased NT license key. I prefer to still use 8.0.28 and have Kinetick data feed. To keep my setup the same at this time, will the Apex Rithmic option allow me to connect both Kinetick(I need for stock data) and Rithmic? Most help info refers to NT 8.1 and Tradeovate option so m reaching out to better understand. Thanks for help.

Yes that is correct, you can use Kinetick and Apex simultaneously for different asset classes. You will just need to set your preferred provider settings:

Yes you would need to import the Apex key to your Account Dashboard to enable your NinjaTrader user for evaluation access. Please see the article below:

Thanks for the article. So I would need to use real time Rithmic futures data for the Apex eval?

That is correct; you would need to use real time futures data provided by Apex for use with the Apex evaluation. You would not be able to use Kinetick futures data exclusively for use with the Apex evaluation, even though Kinetick does offer futures data.

Thanks again Sev..So after getting up to speed this is how I will setup. Real time and historical Futures data using Rithmic. Stocks and Indices use Kinetick data. Then I presume I must turnoff "connect on startup" for Kinetick . Then each time open up NT will have to manually connect to Rithmic first then connect to Kinetick.. Sound correct?

That sounds correct. It will be especially important to manually reconnect to each market data feed so that they do not interfere with each other.
