    High resources usage

Dears, I simply use NT8 to bridge tradestation 10 and TWS (from interactive brokers) - nothing else. I have nothing opened in my workspace. Since I started using NT I had issues with high memory usage, often times reaching 100%, tried to open a topic here but got nowhere. Today I read in another topic (https://forum.ninjatrader.com/forum/...l-memory-usage) the suggestion to open NT in safe mode, create a new workspace and then use this one in normal mode - this somehow made my RAM usage better than before, memory was very low after starting with the new workspace, but usage seems to have grown during the trading day and looks quite high for a simple bridge. Additionally, now I also have high CPU usage by NT - see below. It's basically all day above 40%.

Any ideas on what's going on?

    Hello rafamunhoz,

    Thank you for posting.

To see what (if any) NinjaScript items may be contributing to the symptoms, please open the NinjaScript Utilization Monitor with the following steps:
    • Control Center > New > NinjaScript Output
    • Right-click within the NinjaScript output window > Select 'NinjaScript Utilization Monitor...
    • This window will begin to populate with NinjaScript items in order of time spent processing
    • Let this window populate for at least a few minutes then attach a screenshot of it's contents
    Thanks in advance.

Hi - I did that already earlier today, did again now and there's nothing showing, although NT resources usage are still high

So I may look into this further please go to Help->Email Support and be sure to include Attn: Chris Jameson in the Subject line, a link to this thread in the body and a check in the box for "Log and trace files".

        Thanks in advance.

Think of the bright side, you finally have a use for all that RAM!

the case was closed - at the end we found out that the issue was due to NT being spammed via port 25, which it uses to communicate with TS. Adding a rule in windows firewall to close port 25 from external access did the trick.
