Clarification on License requirement to connect to a SINGLE broker (IBKR) from Canada

I just want to know currently, if I buy the lifetime license, can I connect at least 1 broker? Or do you need to buy the lifetime license, and then pay $99.00 a month on top of that for the "multi-broker" add on, to connect to 1 broker.

Previously the basic lifetime license let you connect to 1 broker. So I want clarification. I do not want to connect to multiple brokers. Just 1 broker.

Also, what is the deal with this $499.00 "lifetime" option? I asked ninjatrader support about it and they said it does not exist, but I'm looking right at it as an option

Just to confirm, if you are looking to connect to your Interactive Brokers account, you will simply need to

• Set up a username and password for the account dashboard
• Purchase the Multi-Broker Plugin for $99/month

Once you have purchased the plugin, you will be able to connect to your Interactive brokers account on the NinjaTrader platform.

In regards to the plans from the screenshot you have provided, the $499 option is is the monthly cost if you decide to purchase the LTL plan in payments.

Are these the same thing?
When you say monthly cost, what are you talking about?
The $499 option does not say 'per month' ...

Can the website be updated to makes these things clearer?

If the OP purchased this 'Lifetime Account Plan' would he still

Justo confirm, the 'Lifetime Account' for $1499 and 'Lifetime' for $499 are the same and have the same account features.

The 'Lifetime' option for $499 is the monthly cost if you decide to purchase the 'Lifetime Account' plan in payments.

Also you will not need to purchase the 'Lifetime' plan in addition to the 'multi-broker' plug in. You will only need to purchase the plug in to connect your Interactive Brokers account.

Got it! Thanks for the help. So there is no longer a way to pay once for a license that can connect to Interactive Brokers, and is only a subscription model now, correct?

Yes just to confirm, the new plans will not give you access to 'multi-broker' plug in.

The plug in can be purchased for a monthly cost of $99 and will not need a Lifetime license or plan additionally.

So I checked it out and the 499 option is 4 monthly payments of 499 which is 1996 total. So you're paying an extra 497 over the single payment of 1499 if you want a lifetime license. Neither provides the ability to connect to an external broker and an additional $99.00 a month on top of any plan you get (free or otherwise) is required.

For Canadians, Interactive Brokers isn't the only option in NinjaTrader.

For Canada, you can open up a self funded account with GFF Brokers. GFF Brokers will be the introducing broker, and the FCM is Iron Beam. See here: https://www.gffbrokers.com/services/...ding-ironbeam/

In NinjaTrader, the Iron Beam connection is added using the NinjaTrader Continuum option, so you'd be able to log into it in NT versions 8.0 or 8.1

For license, I'm using the included key that came with my ninjamobiletrader vps, and that let's me connect to my NT Continuum account, Rithmic, and Tradovate accounts all at the same time, and all without paying anything extra for licenses because it was included in the vps price.

Ya you basically either have to pay 99/mo only for multi broker separately, or it comes included with a ninjamobiletrader vps, that's what I do
