Pure black chart background / skin / BluePrint

The Slate Dark skin chart background is not totally black. Mostly visible on oled monitor.
Witch parameter should I change on BluePrint.xml file to get pure black chart Background ?
    Thanks in advance

    Hello kissandfly,

The Chart resource dictionary keys would be in the ChartControl.xml skin file.

I believe you are looking for the ChartControl.ChartBackground key.

      Thanks Chelsea.
      Found this
      <SolidColorBrush x:Key="ChartControl.ChartBackground" Color="Black" po:Freeze="true" />
      But still the same
I think there is a gradient somewhere or opacity messing with pure black

        Try transparent instead of black.

          Same same.
I tried Red, Black, transparent. I still have #040404 color instead of #000000
Not a big deal anyway. Just not the best contrast.
But now I am just more curious to understand where does it come from ! lol

            Hello kissandfly,

The screenshot is showing the chart background as red.

Was this not what you were trying to change the color of?

lol Sorry it was just to show you that the parameter is working, for red or black or any.
but black is not pure black 040404 instead of 000000

                Hello kissandfly,

You might also check the BackgroundActiveTab and BackgroundMainWindow keys in the Blueprint.xml file.

Just tried. Same same. Even if I put a black background image.
Anyway, now that we have more and more oled screens, I think Ninjatrader should make a pure black skin available :-)

                    Hello kissandfly,

I inquired with our development about this.

There is indeed a layer on top of the chart that is used to capture mouse events. This layer cannot be fully transparent or the mouse events cannot be captured.
This means that for whatever color you choose as the background, this will modify the color to be very very slightly lighter.
