04:00 HRS EST Candle Missing

Hi all. A quick note to ask about the fact that, when using degault 24X7 trading hours on a 15 minute chart, the first candle of the pre-market session (equities, USA) starts at 04:15 instead of 04:00. Is there a way of having the 0400 hrs candle appear? When working on strategy development and comparing charts (Ninjatrader to my development platform) I am off by one candle.

My data feed is IB.

Hello Dave,

Thank you very much for your post.

NinjaTrader charts candles at the close time. This means a 15-minute candle would include the data from 04:00:01 to 04:15:00.

At 04:15:01, the candle that will be charted at the 4:30 close time would then open.

There is currently no way to change this setting to chart candles at the open time as this is a fixed setting within the platform.
