Strategy storage

When I add a strategy to the grid (directly no chart) where is that strategy stored? In the database...

I know it will attach to the Workspace when I save it and will re-populate the grid when I open that workspace -but- if that is the case then it should be able to be shared with that template to another Ninjatrader installation with all the same programs, correct?

Because that is not the case... What can I share between installations to make that happen? I have 90 strategies on one grid that I want to move to another NT8 desktop platform install and moving the entire database isn't an option...

Thank you for your post.

If you are looking to share strategies with another machine you can get the strategy from C:\Users\*WINDOWSUSERNAME*\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\Strategies.

From here you can grab the strategy you want to copy over and bring it to the new machine.
