Indicator template not there to be loaded after being saved

I dont know what just happened. But the chart I was working on to customize is gone and I am having to start over. I spend some time customizing a couple indicators and I saved the templates after doing so. Not to mention this is after I did a clean install from another problem I was having the NJT was unable to resolve. Now the problem is when i go to Load>template after selecting the indicator on the platform, the template is not there. I looked in file explorer: Ninja Trader 8 > templates > Indicator > and I see it listed. Dont know why it is listed in my Volume indcator folder but it is there..... Also the file showing up as a Microssoft Edge HTML Document and I dont know why.

Thank you for posting.

Template files when saved should be saved in .xml format as opposed HTML. If you save a new test template is this file also converted to HTML? Also can you please attach a screenshot of your indicator template folder.

To capture a screenshot I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.

Alternatively to capture a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and attach the file to your reply.
