    Strategy analizer issue - Drawings do not appear when navigating from window "Trades"

    Hi Everyone,

    I am migrating ninjascript from NT7 to NT8 and I was testing on strategy analizer a sample I build when I notice that lines I draw on the chart ( by code ),
    Whereas appears on the chart viewed from the strategy analizer window "Chart" they do not appear when navigating from the window "Trade", selecting one trade, right click, and go to chart.
    This worked on NT7, drawings were painted on both charts it did not matter from where open the chart..

    If you have any idea if it is related with any configuration or is how it works now strategy analizer..

    Thank you for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader forum community!

    What you have described is an intended behavior for NinjaTrader 8. The Charts display is expected to show drawings made by the strategy, yet the Trades display right-click > Chart option does not show those objects. With that in mind, I appreciate the suggestion and I have submitted this as a feature request to the Development Team requesting to show drawing objects on charts opened from the Trades display. I will follow up with an internal tracking number for your reference as soon as it is created.

      Many thanks for your welcome and your answer.
      It would be great to mantain these drawings on the chart so you would not need to scroll right and left on the main chart to find specific signal/trade drawings.
      If you are going to suggest an update on this to the development team, is there any possibilty for me to get news about it?
      I do not understand what you mean by " tracking number for your reference".
      I will get a message through this post with a reference of the status of the development? A notification to my profile?

        Hello Alex,

        Thank you for your reply.

        NinjaTrader has an internal system for tracking feature requests. We will provide you with the tracking ID # once it has been generated. You will not receive active status updates regarding the request, though you may refer to that tracking number if you ever contact support with questions about the request. Otherwise, the release notes in the help guide do mention the tracking number once a feature has been implemented, so you can continue to check there when updates are released to see if the feature was added. Here is where to find the release notes, and the tracking number is referred to in the "Issue #" column:Thanks again for your patience; I will let you know once the tracking number has been generated so you may keep that in your notes.​

            Your vote was added to an existing feature request. The internal tracking number for this feature request is SFT-5314. As previously discussed, please reference this internal tracking number when contacting Platform Support if you ever have questions regarding this feature request.
