Volumetric chart on Market Replay - Not displaying the data correctly

    Hello,

I have an issue with displaying the volumetric chart using Market Replay.

I have 3 charts open (see the attached image) and all market replay data are downloaded.

For the volumetric chart (the chart on the right), "Tick Replay" is checked (Data Series -> Tick Replay)

As you can see from the attached image, minute and range charts are displaying candles correctly.

But if you look at the volumetric chart, it only shows the current candle (where I placed the mount point on the Playback slide scrollbar). And all previous volumetric candles are missing.

How do I fix this? Thanks

    Hello cstone1004,

Thank you very much for your post.

As the market replay does not use market replay data to fill the historical information on your chart (as this would take a significant amount of time), it uses the historical data itself. If no historical tick data is available, the chart will then not load.

"Tick Replay" requires existing historical tick data to fill the chart, which might explain why the other charts fill, and this one did not.

To resolve this, please either disable the Tick Replay option or change how the market replay loads historical data. You can do this by right-clicking the Playback Control window (the one that displays the time and play button) and selecting "Playback current day".

NinjaTrader would then replay the market replay data of this day leading up to the current candle rather than using historical data, which would then allow Tick Replay to chart this information.

Please don't hesitate to let me know, should you have any further questions in this regard!

Thank you so much for the fast reply. Was able to fix the issue with your answer.

For anyone having the same issue, select "Playback current day" as Manfred suggested, then click "Reload All Historical Data" (Ctrl+Shft+R) to reload all charts.

      Thank you again!
