    Some indicators just don't work anymore

    Hello,

    for some reason some indicators stopped working. For example the BarTimer.
    I am still using the 8.0.28.0 64bit version.

    How can I fix that, or find out what the problem is? I tried it on a blank chart, but it doesn't work. Any other ideas?

    Hello,

    Typically issues with the bar time usually indicate either you are not receiving live data, or the PC clock is out of sync. Can you elaborate on what message or functionality you are seeing that is incorrect?

      No the time is completely right. The problem also occures at a range chart with the range counter. Or the simple EMA is not working.
      Some third party indicators work as usual.

      Any ideas?

        Hello,

        The bar timer will only work on time based charts, so any tick based charts such as range, tick, renko, etc. would be expected for the bar timer to not function.

        Does the EMA not display on the chart when it is added? Can you send a screenshot of what you are seeing on your chart?

          Here is your screenshot..... you see nothing....
          And of course did I test the range counter on a range chart.....

            Hello,

            Does this persist on all charts? Can you open the indicators menu and check the settings of each indicator to ensure they are marked as visible and not set to a transparent color or color that would blend in with the background?

              yes, the indicators don't work on my regular charts and on new ones as well.
              I think I have this problem since I installed the NT8 again and imported the backup. And yes I installed the same NT8 version as before.

                Thank you for your response and for that information.

                Are there are any errors visible in the 'Log' tab of the Control Center?

                Additionally, can you please send us your log, trace, and workspace files so that we can take a deeper look? You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

                Expand 'Other files' and enable 'Workspaces files and UI settings'.

                  I just checked it..... and there are error messages:
                  Indicator 'EMA': Error on calling 'SetState' method: The file or assembly "SpyMoney_TheNinjaSuite_Indicators...." or a dependency thereof was not found. The system cannot find the specified file.

                  But I deleted the SpyMoney indicator from the addon assembly..... I will send​ the log by email.

                        Thank you for your response.

                        I just replied over email to your request with instructions on how to remove the SypMoney suite in it's entirety and asked you to let me know if the errors persist after the entire assembly has been removed.

                        I will keep my eye out for your reply via email!
