Question Regarding Orders Per Alert
Hi everyone. I have a question for anyone that can possibly answer. So I am setting up and entry for a stop limit order once price crosses outside of my zone. I assume that once price came down and crossed outside of my zone the stop limit order would be initiated. But under Alerts<Actions<Submit Order it says Limit Price and Stop Price. I assume stop price is my stop loss. But do I actually have to set the price for the stop limit order? I thought that it would initiate as soon price crossed outside. Looking for some clarification. Thanks!Tags: None

Hello Adamcoin33,
Thank you very much for your post.
The "Submit Order" option would only submit a single order each. In this case, it would submit a Stop Limit order. Stop Limit orders require both, a Stop Price (the price at which they trigger) and a Limit Price (the price at which it will fill). For more information about Stop Limit Orders, please see Investopedia's publicly available article below:
If you would like to submit an order that executes as soon as the alert triggers, please submit a Market order instead.
Please don't hesitate to let me know, should you have any further questions!

Ok understood. Thanks! Also, if I wanted to reset a simulation account how would I go about doing that? I don't see reset under account properties. Thanks

Hello,
Unfortunately Demo accounts cannot be cleared/reset. If you'd like a new local sim account you can enable Multi Provider mode under Tools>Options>General which will allow you to trade to the Sim101 account which can be set at any time. Note this will change the login experience as well however.

@ryan ok understood. Thank you for the help!
Manfred 2 days ago you told me to send you my trace files to figure out why I keep getting kicked out. I didn't hear back from you. Happened again twice today. I sent trace files over again a couple minutes ago. Simulation : unable to reestablish connection. (Panic)
