    Question Regarding Lost Connection

    Hey everyone. So I'm new to NT. Trying to get through this learning curve. I have a question regarding losing my Sim Connection. Here are some details to paint the picture.

    I am using a server from NinjaTrader Mobile. Reason being is because I need to be able to get alerts throughout the day. So from what I understand, NT should ALWAYS be running. I can close my laptop. Go into sleep mode. Lose internet etc etc. Ninja Trader should always be running from the rented server no matter what.

    I had an open long position today. Alerts were set also. Take profit, stop loss set. All of that. I also had alerts set up to let me know if I hit my target or get stopped out. So I walked away, went about my day. When I came back to check, connection was lost and my position was closed out. My take profit was not hit. Price did not take my stop loss out. Price barely even moved.

    I contacted NinjaTrader Mobile and they looked at the server logs. Everything seemed to be fine on their end. So what could have caused this to happen. It has happened before. Just not with an open position. I would really like to try and figure this out to avoid it in the future. Thanks!

    Could you forward us your log & trace files? I'd like to take a closer look at what might have triggered the disconnect.

    If possible, please also mention the time during which this occurred, this ensures we look at the correct time if we find more than one incident.

    Please select "Platform Technical Support" as the recipient and enter a brief "ATTN Manfred" note in the message.
