    Laptop Install not Same as Desktop Install

    So I am a paid lifetime ninja subscriber, and I converted my application to the new login method. Everything on my desktop works fine. I bought a new laptop and downloaded ninja to it and installed it. I then created a backup file from within Ninja (desktop) and imported into my fresh Ninja install (laptop).

    Here are some of the confusing going ons that is keeping me from getting my Laptop working.
    • Desktop does not ask me if I want to do live or sim trading when I log in - Laptop does
    • My connection settings on my desktop didnt transfer to my laptop.
    • When attempting to create my connection objects on the laptop, there is no configure menu option when I select "connections" on the main ninjatrader window on the laptop. I can however see the configure menu option in the same location on my desktop and I can't reconcile the reason why.
    • Clicking tools and GLOBAL sim mode is an available menu option on my desktop. It does not exist in my laptop
    • On Desktop, right click on Accounts Tab in the ninja control window allows me to ADD a simulation account. Right clicking in the same place on the labtop does not have a menu option for adding a simulation account.
    • Laptop is stuck to execute orders on a live account ONLY. Desktop allows me to switch between LIVE and SIMULATION and I cant figure out why this is occurring.
    • Both laptop and desktop have same version of Ninjatrader (8.1.1.7)

    I need to get my laptop to behave like my desktop. I dont understand why they are so different. My laptop needs the following:
    • Presence of the configure menu option under the connections menu from the ninja control window
    • Presence of the Global Simulation Mode menu option under Tools menu from the ninja control window
    • Ability to add SIM account when right clicking the accounts tab window
