Opening up a new instrument chart..

When making a new chart, any past data in it for that particular instrument isn't there and it's empty. Is there a way to add some of it's history to the new chart to see what the data had been doing before you start trading on it?

When you connect to your data provider the chart
should automatically populate.

I have been connected, but it showed nothing. I must be doing something wrong.

Who is your broker/data provider?

The instrument was LE, and data provider is Ninjatrader

Hello Stormy7,

Can you please tell me what expiry month you have selected for the LE futures. Do you load the requested historical data if you select the LE 10-23?

Does it make a difference if you right click in the chart and select 'Reload All Historical Data'?
