Can't connect through Proxy

Hello! First of all I'd like to say, that before writting this I did read a few topics from this forum, connected with the same issue. Especially "NT8 behind corporate proxy". Unfortunately, I followed all the recommendations from them and haven't succeeded( Here is my case:

I'm from Russia, so I have to use proxy for NT8 because otherwise it won't work. I set up and tested a HTTP-proxy from the USA. I use Sock cap 64 and (as Tburg10 kindly reccomended) - switched the .exe file into "Run as administrator" regime.

Now I log in normally but then, when I try to connect via "Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage" (I follow the Apextrading's instruction and use credentials I received from them) I receive an error:

"Unable to connect: (11);
Raised in: com.omnesys.omne.om.OMLogger
Method: OMLogger
Error: no handle (Logon failed)"

I tried to swich proxy into the Socks regime - and in that case the error is changing to different one:

"Please check your account connection parameters and internet connection. (Logon failed)"

Please! Help me with this trouble. Can't solve it by myself.

Make sure when you open ninjatrader, you do it from within Sockcap64. And that Sockcap64 says (Administrator Mode) at the top.

Maybe I gotta try another proxy? Tburg10 would you mind reccomend me a good proxy seller, pls? Which works for you.

Sorry I don't have a recommendation. I'm just using a local proxy. You might go here and download the newest version (4.7, https://github.com/bobo2334/sockscap64/releases) or maybe try the trial for Proxifier to see if it's the proxy or the software. I guess it could also be something wrong inside NT.

Thank you! I've done it. Tried another proxy (from another seller) + tries Proxifier. Here's Proxifier log-fragment after I pressed "Connections" - "My Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage" and recieved an error again.

Sorry you're having so much trouble. I know it's frustrating. Are you using socks or http? Try http. I've never had any luck trying to use socks.

I've tried both regimes. Unfortunatelly result is still the same

Dealing with proxies can be such a headache, huh? I remember once when I was in a similar bind, trying to get everything to play nice with my trading platform. It felt like hitting walls at every turn! Have you considered exploring 5G proxies? They can offer a more stable connection, especially for international users like us. Might be worth a shot to smooth out those connection issues you're facing with NT8.
