Chart Trader Colors

Hi, how do you change the background color / colors for the position for charttrader? I'd like to make them almost transparent. (ie: the black around the -2.75 and the green around the 2)

Currently, there is not an option by default to change the colors used for the position or urealized value displayed within the two cells your inquired about.

In order to change this setting you would need to create a custom Skin for NinjaTrader. I have provided a link below to our Help Guide that goes over creating custom Skins for NinjaTrader.

Great, I was able to make it transparent. What x:Key controls the black border box around the PnL / Position in the chart?

The box that outlines the position is tied to the chart axis color and cannot be adjusted independently. To change this color, you can right click in your chart->Properties->Expand Axis->Select a new color then click Ok.

Can you please confirm you have your custom skin selected from Tools->Options->General->Skin drop down menu then once selected restart NinjaTrader. If the correct colors are still not displayed please go to Help->Email Support and be sure to include Attn: Chris Jameson in the Subject line, a link to this thread in the body and attach a copy of your custom skin file which can be found in Documents->NinjaTrader 8->templates->Skins folder.

This has been reported to our Development Team and is scheduled to be resolved in the next release 8.1.2.1.
