    Cant launch NT8

    Hello, this morning I uninstalled NinjaTrader8 to fix a bug I had that prevented me from opening the strategy builder. Since I started using this software, I've had to launch it as an administrator, otherwise one of the indicators I've downloaded doesn't appear and can't be added in NT8. Since this morning (the reinstallation) I can't launch nt8 as administrator, it simply won't open (whereas it does via the normal route).
    I've followed various tutorials to solve the problem but to no avail (https://forum.ninjatrader.com/forum/...en-nt-8-64-bit).

    How can I solve these problems?
    -> The installed indicator only appears if NT8 is launched as administrator BUT since the reinstallation nt8 doesn't launch if I want to launch it as administrator.

    Thank you for posting.

    So I may look into this further please send an email to platformsupport [AT] ninjatrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Chris Jameson" in the subject line.

    In the message, please include the following:
    1.) A link to this forum thread.
    2.) A copy of your log and trace files.

    Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your email.
    • Open your NinjaTrader folder under, "Documents" (sometimes called, "My Documents")
    • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    • Send the 2 compressed folders as an attachment in your email
    • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

      Hello,

      After checking with support and testing various commands in the .cmd nothing worked, so I did a total reset of the PC, now the software launches but does not load because the following error code appears: ""unable to connect to DB: impossible to load the DLL 'SQLite.interop.dll':The specified module cannot be found. (HRESULT exception: 0x8007007E)".
      I've done the downloads suggested in that post: https://forum.ninjatrader.com/forum/...ant-launch-nt8
      but nothing works, the software still won't load...

        Please rename your database with the steps provided below:
        • Go to the Start Menu
        • Select My Documents--> NinjaTrader 8--> db--> "NinjaTrader.sqlite" file (may only say 'NinjaTrader' depending on your Windows File Explorer settings)
        • Right click on NinjaTrader.sdf and select "Rename"
        • Name it "OLDNinjaTrader.sqlite"
        • Then restart the software and NinjaTrader will create a fresh database file to use
        • Unfortunately the following items stored in the old database will be lost - Trading Hours templates, Instrument Lists / Custom Instruments, historical trade execution data, saved Strategy Analyzer backtest results

        Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.
