Any way to allow sound to play over itself multiple times at once?

However, when I downloaded them, the files would not appear in the NT8 sounds folder. Is this something on my end or are audio files not able to be added for custom alerts?

Could it be the sound file is not a .wav file? When I test this on my end with a custom .wav file, I'm able to select it.

I think it has more to do with CPU and or OS. I am thinking it should work with laptop too, but it needs to be tested. When I say all of them, it's more like 75+%. Like today I noticed 4-5 alerts all happen at the same time and I only missed one. Still way better than my older system though. I noticed you can actually bring out the alerts log window. My new strategy is have that alerts log window displayed on the very side of one of my monitors and I will just glance over occasionally to make sure I don't miss anything. You can color code the alert log texts to different alerts.

Interesting, I'll check those out. It's a little difficult for me because I travel a lot, so a desktop would be rough hauling around. Maybe some outside hardware for my laptop would work, I appreciate the help

This won't help directly but just to give you an idea, 6 months ago I bought a new PC with AMD Ryzen 7 5800 running win 11 and 32 GB ram, it's able to handle multiple sounds happening at the same time. Almost feels like each sound been processed by different cpu cores so it's been output independently. In my old PC, if I have alerts happen around same time, I may only hear one of them, now I hear all of them! Very happy with the new machine. I have over 20+ alerts set and it's well worth the money.

That's alright, I was able to find some audio files that don't have a silent start, so it should not be a problem if spam occurs. However, when I downloaded them, the files would not appear in the NT8 sounds folder. Is this something on my end or are audio files not able to be added for custom alerts?

    Hello rbeckmann05,

Unfortunately I don't see a way to avoid the cancel effect. As you mention, orders come in so fast that it cancels out the sound. The sound is triggered so much, it does not get to the part where you hear the sound.

I would like to add a sound to every time my time and sales (1 minimum contract) shows an order, but when orders come in rapidly, it is just silent because the sound cancels itself out. I primarily trade NQ so you can imagine how often this happens. Any way to disable this cancel effect? Thank you.
