Hide candles to the right

Is there any way to hide candle sticks to the right on a chart?

What I'd like to do is pick a point in the past and be able to look at it as if that moment is where price currently is, by hiding any candle sticks to the right of that point.

Unfortunately, there is not an option to hide candle sticks to the right of a chart. You may browse our NinjaTrader Ecosystem website to see if there are any 3rd Party Add-Ons that can do what you are describing.

Here is a basic guideline of how to import NinjaScript add-ons in NinjaTrader 8:
Note — To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.

To Import:

1. Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
2. From the Control Center window select the menu Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-on...
3. Select the downloaded .zip file
4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:

• Right-click your chart > Indicators... > Select the Indicator from the 'Available' list on the left > Add > OK

Can I make a request for an option under Data Series > Chart Style to add an option for "None" as in to hide the candle sticks

Thank you for your post.

While there is no 'None' option under Data Series > Chart Style, you may set the color for the candle body outline, candle wick, and color for up and down bars to 'Transparent' which will hide the candle sticks from your chart. To do this, right click within your chart window and select 'Data Series'. From here under 'Chart Style', change the color for the candle body outline, candle wick, and color for up and down bars to 'Transparent' then click 'Ok'. You should now see your candlesticks hidden within your chart window.
