    Problem with TWS and NT(sync strategy and data)

    Hi. Now i have new problem.
    I record video and you can see it via link https://youtu.be/PqR62_dVUT8
    In this video mystical work of NT via TWS. On TWS all position is closed, but in NT it works and calculated fake PnL.
    Strategy is enabled but not working. Orders is not controlled and data is not translated into strategy.
    Another problem that NT see orders but in real time this order was closed 5 minute ago.
    And when log file is freeze.

    In my last two post i have another problems with TWS work.

    P.S. NT 8.0.28.0 64-bit and new TWS Build 10.23.2a, Jun 15, 2023 4:54:18 PM (version from manual)

    I had to remove your trace file from the post, In the future please do not upload your log or trace files directly to the forum, if you need to present log/trace data please email your question by using the help -> email support option.

    If you are seeing some kind of discrepancy between NinjaTrader and TWS A first step would be to stop all strategies so no other trades are taken. After you have stopped the strategies please try reconnecting to check if the platform is now up to date with TWS. The next step would be to contact TWS to ensure the information you are seeing in the TWS platform matches your account, that would also be to manually manage your account if any actions need to be taken.

    After speaking with your broker I would suggest to collect 1 example of an order which was still appearing in NinjaTrader along with its ID and then use the platforms Help -> Email support option and check the log and trace files checkbox so those are attached with your inquiry. Please include the order id, the time of the order and a short description of the problem that happened with that order.

    If you have other posts open for other issues those will be addressed by the representatives that were assigned the posts. If you otherwise have other problems which you have not yet reported please make seperate new posts or emails for those questions.

      Thank you for your attention and recommendations. However, we still need to understand the root of this phenomenon.
      1. It is noted that this problem occurs only when communicating with TWS. In simulation mode, this behavior is not observed, which may indicate some peculiarities of the interaction between NinjaTrader and TWS.
      2. The problem rarely occurs when using 1-3 strategies at the same time, but becomes more noticeable as the number of strategies increases. This may indicate that this problem is dependent on the load associated with the simultaneous execution of many strategies, we suspect that this is due to the processing of orders on the Ninja side of the TWS API, since the TWS API itself works fine at this point.
      3. Manifestations of this problem are very diverse. It can be expressed in the freezing of NinjaTrader without responding to commands, freezing of charts when indicators are applied to them, as well as in a discrepancy between platform readings and real data. It is important to note that under such conditions, the strategy seems to be active, but in fact does not work. Observations in logs and Debug mode confirm this behavior.
      4. One of the difficulties is that even trace (Trace) in Ninja ceases to function, and Debug shows that control is not transferred to the strategy. This makes it difficult to identify the exact causes.
      5. Another important feature is that all orders coming from TWS are no longer processed. This can be a critical factor, since our strategy directly depends on the correct work with TWS.
      We are asking for your help in diagnosing and resolving this issue as our strategy is configured to work with TWS and without this important functionality it cannot function. At the moment, when the strategy works in simulation, there is almost no problem. However, as the number of strategies increases, a hang occurs, and we cannot determine the root of the problem.

        Hello tanas.eduard,

        If you are having problems like freezing you may want to email support using the help -> email support option first so that we can check if there are errors happening. Freezing would be a reason why some information is not updated in NinjaTrader. If you have custom items that are causing issues like freezing that would be an item to address before looking further into the order issue. If your custom strategy is causing problems when you run many instances it it possible that its logic is doing something incorrect and causing a large performance impact which leads to freezing.

        For the order issue that would not be question we can answer from just a description, we would need to see an example of an order along with the relevant log/trace information to see if something can be learned as to why that is happening. The details from the previous post would still be the way to proceed. After speaking with your broker and confirming TWS is showing accurate information collect 1 order number and use the platforms help -> email support option so we can review the log information.
