NT8 super slow

    NT8 super slow

    HI
    My Ninjatrader platform has gone super slow all of a sudden. It all works just unusable. eg 2 minutes to compile an indicator.
    I downloaded the latest version to see if that would resolve it but it hasn't.

    Checked the cpu and memory usage and there is acres to spare there so it's something within NT itself.
    Can NT assist - anything I can do to solve the issue?

      Could you send us your log & trace files? We'd like to take a closer look at any reported errors or issues.

      You can do this by going to the Control Center -> Help -> Email Support

      Please select "Platform Technical Support" as the recipient and enter a brief "ATTN Manfred" note in the message.

        I did this this morning before I saw this message - it took me 3 goes but it went to support without being for your attention.
        This morning I uninstalled and reinstalled nt8 and it's still the same.

                  Ok too hasty there.
                  I have now uninstalled and reinstalled NT8. Numerous issues - wont connect, invalid password, simulated data feed won't operate, etc, etc.
                  Oh and I can log in to the web NT, get to the home page but when I click trading.... it just hangs. So I have no possibility to trade. Fortunately I use Metatrader as well - which has none of these issues and works flawlessly.
                  Each time I open NT8 I get different "connections'. Current one says live ( and it connects) - but my account is called Live1 ( what's that?)
                  is that my actual account or some weird derivative set up by NT?
                  I have no idea.
                  NT is still super slow.
                  I get responses from NT but I am on the other side of the world so it's one suggestion per day.
                  I have looked at my network, set up a new chart and workspace and so on and so on.
                  I should add I have been using NT for 10+ years so not a complete newbie but this one has me frustrated and angry.
                  I have been unable to trade for 9 days now.
                  I post here in the vain hope that actually support can truly help and sort this out - it really isn't a simple issue.

                    Update for those with issues. Dropbox is like OneDrive - very invasive. Turns out NT8 was running from it and of course there were constant mapping issues.
                    So If you have Dropbox make sure you don't sync your Documents folder.

                    Just do it manually.
