Can one have a CQG data feed from Ninja without a Ninja Brokerage account? Or a feed needs to be linked to an account technically?

Thank you for your post.

We (NinjaTrader Brokerage) can only issue a CQG/Continuum username for a live account with NinjaTrader Brokerage. So it has to be tied to a live account.

You will need to purchase a Multi Broker add-on and then enable a Multi-Provider Mode, as described here:
