Daily loss limit

Is there a way to put a daily loss limit to lock you out for the day once reached?

Yes, it is possible to put a daily loss limit on an account by using the NinjaTrader Account Dashboard.

To do so, you would log into the NinjaTrader Account Dashboard, navigate to the NinjaTrader Account Settings page, click the 'Risk settings' button under your account, toggle the Daily Loss Limit option on, and set your value. When you are satisfied with your settings, click Save.

Unfortunately, changes to the NinjaTrader Dashboard would only affect NinjaTrader Brokerage accounts.

You may want to contact your broker and inquire if they have this setting available, or you may want to look in to the Addon suggested by brucerobinson.
