Orders Not Cancelled on Charts

I has this question recently from PlatformSupport email, but I forgot the answer. Please post answer here

Where errors in a strategy occur and orders are not cancelled properly. After Strategy re enabled the old orders keep showing on the charts in a orange color.

How do we get rid of those from showing on charts

Thank you for your post.

If your inquiry involves live orders, please always reach out to your broker's Orders Desk immediately to confirm and manage your live orders and positions.

If these are in a state of Cancel Pending these should clear after the end of the trading session.

If they do not please follow the steps below to manually send your log and trace files so I may investigate this matter further.

• Open the Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to, "Documents" > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder
• Right-click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
• Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to an email to support [AT] ninjatrader [DOT] com
  • Please include 'ATTN Spencer' in the Subject line and a link to this forum post in the body of the email
• Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

If these stuck orders are on the Sim101 account, we advise that you reset the Simulation account to resolve this item.

Resetting a simulation account will clear all historical trade data from this account. Please follow the instructions below to reset a simulation account:

• From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the Accounts tab
• Right-click on your simulation account and select 'Edit Account'
• Press the "Reset" button > Yes > OK
