Importing Futures Data and Expiration Dates

Hello,
I have some GC data that i want to import and it was data for January 3 2023.The only way that ninja accepted the import is when i renamed it to GC 12-22 even if it was January.Where i can find the expiration dates of the contracts?

Thank you for your post.

GC is a deliverable contract, so in the beginning of January the April contract was the most traded month. When importing the data for January 2023, you wound need to name the file "GC 04-23".

You can view FIRST NOTICE (when delivery starts) on the CME Group website: https://www.cmegroup.com/markets/met....calendar.html
Normally two business days before the FIRST NOTICE everyone (who doesn't take a delivery) rollover to the next month without waiting for the last trade date.
You can reach out to your broker, if you have any further questions on that.
