Tradovate and Kinetick

Hi There,

Is there any chance to get Tradovate and Kinetick connected? And if, how?

I can't find any statements or videos how to connect Tradovate to Kinetick.

I am a full licensed NT8 user with subscribed Kinetick data feed.

Thank you for your post.

You should be able to setup a Kinetick connection within any version of the NinjaTarder Desktop, if you have an active Kinetick username. Here is the Kinetick connection guide, please follow instructions under "Establishing a Real Time Kinetick Connection".

To be able to use a Tradovate connection, you have to make sure you are using the latest version of NinjaTarder Desktop - 8.1.1.7 (you can check what version you are using by going to Control Center>Help>About). Then setup a new connection: Tradovate

If you are still not able to connect, please email us your log and trace files right from the NinjaTrader platform (by going to Help-> Email Support), so we may investigate this matter further. Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

Hi, Thanks.

That's not the point. My question was: Can I connect Tradovate to the existing Kinetick I have with NT8?

Currently, it seems that I have to subscribe additionally to a TV data feed. That confuses me.

Thank you for the note.

Data, you receive though a Kinetick connection, can be used for charts or other windows, but to actually be able to place orders in your Tradovate account, Real-time Market data has to be enabled on that account.

If you have any further questions on that, please email us right from the NinjaTrader platform (by going to Help-> Email Support), so we can see how your connections are setup. Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.
