Open Interest

Hello, Is there a way to get open interest on the desktop platform?

Hello morrnel,

You can view this in the Market Analyzer by adding the 'Open interest' column.

• Go to Control Center-->New-->Market Analyzer
• Add the desired instruments in the Market Analyzer
• Right click in the Market Analyzer and select 'Columns'
• Double click 'Open interest' in the Available box so it gets added to the Configured box.
• Click OK.

If you don't get data in the 'Open interest' column, it indicates the broker/data feed connection does not support it. More information regarding the Market Analyzer can be found at the link below.

You could also use the COT indicator to plot 'Open interest' in a chart. Please see the following link for information on the COT indicator.

Found it, thanks. I set up two instruments. Neither show Open interest but ask, bid, and last do display Do I need something extra? I have level 2. Or doesn't Rithmic support?

The link about COT is not found.

This indicates Rithmic does not support it.
