Importing New Index Instrument

I am trying to import a new Index Instrument (NASDAQ 100 Advance-Decline Issues Difference $ADNDDC) into my Instruments List. The Data feed that I'm using to access Index Info is from TD Ameritrade (TOS). How do I go about doing this?

Thank you for the message.

If the instrument is not within the NinjaTrader Platform by default then we can attempt to help you set it up, but if everything is set up as expected and it is still not working, it may just not be supported.

• As well, since it isn't within the NinjaTrader Platform by default, we do not have the information documented and readily available so this will take some investigation from your side to get this set up.

First, you will need to make sure you are getting the real-time data for that Index from your data provider/broker. If you aren't getting the real-time data then we wouldn't expect for it to work in the first place. You will need to reach out to your broker/data provider directly for more detailed information on your subscriptions and what they offer.

Then, ask your Broker/Market Data provider what the Instrument Symbol, Tick Size, and Point Values are so that you can enter this information into the new instrument you are creating.

From there, if the instrument is still not updating, please respond with the following information:

• What Broker or Market Data provider are you connecting to for this Index Data?
• What is the Tick Size and Point Value they provided when you asked?
• What was the Symbol Map they provided to you?
• What happened when you tried to load the instrument on a chart? Did anything appear or load in? Were there any error messages? If yes, please take a screenshot and include those in your response.

Thank you for the reply Clayton.
I reached out to TD Ameritrade TOS and their data feed is real-time and up to date. The symbols they use are the standard. What do I need to do in order to get them imported onto my platform. I am currently using the same data feed for the other index charts in NinjaTrader that I am currently using.

Go to the Control Center > Tools > Instruments and add the instrument using the information within the guide provided below:

• Enter the information as provided by TD Ameritrade.
