not authorised to use NinjaTrader with Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage

Hi,

I've just created a Rithmic demo account via https://www.rithmic.com/demo.html and can login to it without issue using Rithmic Trader Pro, Quantower and Jigsaw daytradr.

However, I cannot connect NinjaTrader to it using the "Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage" connection. I have the "Rithmic Paper Trading (Chicago)" system selected but get the following error:

"The IB you are trying to connect to is not authorised to use NinjaTrader with Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage (Logon failed)"

What am I missing to get this to work?

I'm using NinjaTrader 8.1.1.7 64-bit with a lifetime licence.

Would a paid connection work? If so, do I purchase it through NinjaTrader Brokerage, or direct with Rithmic?

Unfortunately it is not a data feed that you can purchase like Kinetick, BarChart, eSignal and IQFeed.

The "Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage" provider can be used with a supported evaluation service or when you have a trading account with the NinjaTrader Brokerage that uses Rithmic. If you are interested, please send us an email at "brokeragesupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com".

Paid connection definitely works. I'm using Rithmic with paid Apex account in NinjaTrader, and it works great. But I'm using it through a vps I purchased from ninjamobiletrader vps and they helped me set it up.

I think a paid Apex account is a good way to go because you can get it for about $20/mo when they have 90% off sales, which is all the time, and that includes the live market data for the price.
