Bid and Ask with so much difference

    Hi,
I have registered with forex.com to try data provider with them.
I use USTECH100 as symbol because I searched Nasdaq and that was that shows up.
But when I put a Long Market Order the price is 15459.75 and the position is 15460.
Is it Ok? or is too much.(see the picture)

    Hello ervin,

Thank you very much for your post.

With Forex instruments, this spread would, unfortunately, be expected. In short; Any time you open a position in a Forex instrument, you open with a loss as the bid and ask spread is generally much larger than it would be for any other instrument type.

For some further information, please take a look at Forex.com's publicly available information below:

Please don't hesitate to let me know, should you have any further questions!

        Hello ervin,

Thank you very much for your reply.

As Forex instruments are not traded on a centralized exchange, you would always experience a significant spread when trading these instruments.

As other instrument types don't experience such a spread, the only option would be to trade e.g. Futures or Equities instead.

For a full list of all supported brokerages and datafeed providers, and the instruments they offer, please see below:
