    Unable to Switch Between Live and Simulated Account

    I recently upgraded to the most recent version of NinjaTrader 8 (version 8.1.1.7). I noticed I was giving the option to choose between: Live or Demo account. After selecting the Live account, i noticed I no longer have the simulation accounts. The account selection menu on "Chart Trader" only has the live account (see image below). Tried adding it by right-clicking the account tab on control center window but the option wasn't there (see image below). How can i add back the Simulation account?

    Thank you for posting on the forums.


    This is correct, you initially selected "Live" when given the choice between your live or demo account. You now have two options to choose from when switching between accounts:

    1. You can select 'Demo' when prompted and you'll be able to practice trade.
    2. You can go to Tools > Options > General > Multi Provider.

    (If option 2)
    This will allow you to now be able to go to Connections > Configure where you'll be able to create a connection to 'My NinjaTrader' and select the account you want to use. 'Simulation' vs 'Live'.
