    how find renko bars

How can locate the Unirenko and renko bars bars for ninjtrader 8

    #2
    Hello Phil,

    Thank you for using NinjaTrader.

    Custom Intervals - Charting

To access custom Intervals on your Chart, you may do any of the following steps:
    • Select the second drop-down at the top-left of your Chart
    • Here you will be able to select any of the preconfigured timeframe intervals for your Chart or customize this menu from the 'configure' button at the bottom of the list
    • You may also right-click > select 'Data Series' > change the Data Series 'Type' and 'Value' options to your desired interval
    • Type your interval directly into the Chart window > hit 'Enter' on your keyboard (examples: '1M' for 1 minute, '5R' for 5 Range, '1D' for Daily, '500T' for 500 Ticks). A full list of shortcuts may be viewed in the link below.
NinjaTrader Help Guide — Navigating a Chart

Renko Bars are available by default on the charts, but UniRenko bars are not built into NinjaTrader by default.

However, a free Unirenko bar type is publicly available on our NinjaTrader Ecosystem website: https://ninjatraderecosystem.com/use...nko-bartype-8/

You may import NinjaScript add-ons into NinjaTrader using the following steps (Note: To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file)
    1. Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, and keep them in the compressed .zip file.
    2. From the Control Center window select the menu Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-on...
    3. Select the downloaded .zip file
    4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.
Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc., and ask if you want to replace, always press 'No'

    Video Example of Import Process

To add the Indicator to your chart once imported: Right-click your chart > Indicators... > Select the Indicator from the 'Available' list on the left > Add > OK.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
