Unresponsive 8.1.1.7 w. "ES"@5s in the main session

Hello, I'm having problems with the newest NT8 version while trading "ES" at 5s chart in the main session. It gets unresponsive, I do not even see the cursor, my clicks are executed many seconds (feels like minutes) after the click. I don't have such problems w. other instruments like FDAX - also at 5s and w. the same indicators. I read the performance help article but it did not help (only standard indicators, calculation at bar close etc.). Any further ideas? Should I change to the "Version 7.0.1000.XX"?

    Hello bartommy,

Thank you for your inquiry and for using NinjaTrader.

So that we may confirm that is not a problem with NinjaTrader's core system files, could you please start the platform in Safe Mode?

Safe Mode will prevent NinjaTrader from:
    • Loading workspaces.
    • Connecting on start-up.
    • Loading custom assemblies.
    • Getting instrument updates from the server.
To enable safe mode, please use the following steps:
    • Exit NinjaTrader (if open).
    • Hold the CTRL key on keyboard
    • Double click the NinjaTrader icon.
      • Make sure to hold the CTRL key until you see the login splash screen.
    • You can verify you are in safe mode by going to Help -> About.
Once you have opened the platform in safe mode:
    • Reconnect to your data provider from the 'Connections' menu
    • Please open a new chart with no custom bar types/indicators/templates and test for issues.
      • Please note this will not delete your workspace however the new blank workspace will be named Untitled. If you have a workspace already named "Untitled," however, you will not want to save the workspace when exiting NinjaTrader, otherwise, it will overwrite it.
If there are no issues on this new workspace, please restart NinjaTrader normally and try opening the previous workspace by going to Control Center > Workspaces > Select your workspace from the list.

If this reintroduces issues, I would suggest that you close your existing workspace, and try the same test on a brand new, blank chart in a new workspace. If the issue does not present itself on the new chart, I'd suggest that you slowly rebuild your workspace. While rebuilding, please do not use templates and slowly re-add each component gradually so that you can thoroughly test the behavior of the workspace between. This will help you to identify the culprit. Please keep track of what indicators and elements you add back in so that we can narrow down what may be causing the issue if the issue returns. Once you've isolated the cause, you can exclude it from your workspace and, if it is a third party item, you can contact the developer for suggestions on how to improve the performance.

Please let me know if we may assist you any further.
