It sounds like you want to submit a feature request for an option for indicators to hide the DisplayName.

Please note, we receive many requests and cannot reasonably implement all requested features or changes. Interest is tracked internally and if enough interest is tracked, it would be weighed against how feasible it would be to make those changes to consider implementing, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment.

When new features are implemented, they will be listed in the Release Notes page of the Help Guide. The ID number may be different than the internal feature request tracking ID, but the description of the feature will let you know if that feature has been implemented.

I did that about 100yrs ago
It’ll be in one of the many other threads that get initiated as new users come across this and generate the same response.

#brucerobinson - I agree - it seems a not too difficult thing to achieve and would make a big difference to those of us who trade.

Closest I have come to 'removing ' the names is
public override string DisplayName (after OnStateChange)
{
get { return( "."; }
}
Doesnt have to be a full stop This returns a single character and no symbol,interval, etc
However this not only changes the name at the top of the Chart but also changes it in the Indicator list - not a huge issue but one you should be aware of.
Edit - apologies. I had a faulty/semi broken NT8 installation - this does NOT remove all the crap after the indicator ( time,symbol, etc)

I had a recollection of seeing an add-on workaround somewhere. 329 downloads so fair to say there’s User demand

Futures.io now Nexusfi - wasn’t aware of that either, every day’s a school day!

I don’t actually need as I have Label-free Saved to Default Templates for the few indicators I use & can’t recall the last time I added a new one to my workspace so good enuff for me.

Hopefully we each help some future tortured souls out in our small way
