Avoid Ninjatrader 8 to fuse orders

    Hello guys,

¿How I can avoid Ninja to fuse targets or stops when I move those orders manually to the same price? Lets say for example I have 2 independents 1 contract targets. Currently if I put those 2 orders on the same price Ninja fuses as 1 target of 2 contracts. How I can avoid that and maintain each target as an individual order?

    Thank you,

    Felipe

    Hello Felipe,

You have posted in the Strategy Development section of the forums.

May I confirm you are programming a NinjaScript Strategy in C#?

If so, may I confirm you are assigning order objects to variables from OnOrderUpdate()?

If you are using Atm templates you can use the 'Display Selected ATM Strategy Only' selection mode.
Please post in Atm inquiries in the Platform Technical Support section of the forums.

I think what you're seeing is bit of on-screen trickery.

When you manually move an order to the same price as an existing
order, it looks like those two orders have been 'combined' into one.

But, under the hood, that's not what happens.

When orders are 'combined' on the chart window, the orders still
      remain as separate orders.

Through some fancy-dancy programming trickery, the chart window
shows them as 'combined' and proceeds to move them all as a single
      unit when moving them manually.

      Make sense?

Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

          Hello out2lunch420,

          Welcome to the NinjaTrader forums!

If you are using Atm Strategy templates, you can separate the stop and targets by using the 'Display Selected ATM Strategy Only' selection mode'.
If you are using Atm templates you can use the 'Display Selected ATM Strategy Only' selection mode.
Help guide: Operations > Advanced Trade Management (ATM) > ATM Strategy > ATM Strategy Selection Mode > Understanding the "Display Selected ATM Strategy Only" mode

If you are not using Atm Strategy templates, I am not aware of a way to prevent this behavior
However, you can modify the stop or limit price of one of the stacked orders on the Orders tab of the Control Center or in the Basic Entry window.

On the Orders tab of the Control Center, find the row of the order you wish to modify, then double click in the stop or limit column for that row to modify the price.
Help guide: Operations > Control Center > Orders Tab > Understanding the orders tab

From the Basic Entry window, click the + / - button to increase or decrease the order price.
Help guide: Operations > Order Entry > Basic Entry > Modifying and Cancelling Orders > Modifying existing orders
