Chart Trader Limit Orders

Hey!

I'm wondering if there's any easy way to get limit orders through chart trader instead of having to use basic entry for that option?

Just as easy as being able to write in limit price and hit buy/sell.

Thanks for your post.

To submit limit orders with Chart Trader when Chart Trader is enabled, you could right-click on the chart window at the price you want to submit the limit order to and select the 'Buy Limit' or 'Sell Limit' options.

Hello BrandonH,

Yes I know about that feature but it's not what I want, I specificlly want the buttons there with buy/sell and a limit order field to choose the price I want and not having to move my mouse around to find the exact price.

I did find one on another website but it was $497 for just the buttons which is kinda steep for me.

NinjaTrader Desktop does not have a feature to include Buy Limit or Sell Limit order buttons in Chart Trader.

We are tracking interest for this in an internal feature request ticket and I have added your vote. This request is being tracked under the number SFT-266.

As with all feature requests, interest is tracked before implementation is considered, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment. If implemented, it will be noted on the Release Notes page of the Help Guide.
