Loaded Strategies where are they saved

Good Morning,
I have usually a few strategies running on Ninja Trader over 10. However, my issue occurs when for some reason when you close ninjatrader or have to end it in task manager. The strategy that is running and not stopped is usually removed. I then have to on next startup go and find back the chart and load the strategy. Where does NInja Store these strategies for I can just drop back that .xml file and have my strategies loaded back. I know its not in the workspace, config or UI xml files, since I can replace those with previous days versions and the strategies still do not come back.

Strategies applied in NinjaTrader Desktop are saved when you save the workspace. Unfortunately there is no .xml file that allows you to restore strategies. I suggest to restore your workspace using the 'Restore workspace' function and check if this will bring back the strategies (assuming the workspace was saved with the strategies before).

Please complete the following steps to use the "Restore workspace" feature:

1. Navigate to Tools -> Database Management
2. Select "Restore workspace"
3. Select Restore to be directed to the location of the recovery workspaces
4. Workspaces will be organized in folders with the same name as the workspace
5. Double click the folder of the workspace you want to recover and then select the recovery file with the date/time that you want to recover. You'll want to select a file larger than 1kb from the available options.

Strategies in Strategies tab are saved in the file Documents\NinjaTrader 8\db\NinjaTrader.sqlite

Perhaps you could make a backup copy of that file. Then if the strategy disappears from the strategy tab, copy your NinjaTrader.sqlite back into that folder and it should be restored.
