Set Audible ALERT NT8 9 Cross 20

Can you give me an answer to how to
1. Set An Alert for a 9 to Cross the 20 (ABOVE) and (BELOW)
2. Play a SOUND on the Close of the CROSS. (ABOVE or BELOW the 20) Happens.

I would like exact steps how to fill out these VERY CONFUSING FIELDS.

1. Does Numeric have to be filled out.
2. How do I set the 9 to cross the 20 on the condition Fields.

An clear and step by step ANSWER would be apprecitated.

I have tried for hours to figure this out.

Thank you very much for your post.

To set this alert up, please follow the steps below.

First, ensure that the MA added to your chart calculates on each tick, as it would otherwise not chart on the current, but only on historical candles:



As a next step, when setting up the alert, please create two Conditions, one that triggers if the SMA (9) crosses above the SMA (20), and one if it crosses below.

When selecting the "If Any" option, this would trigger if either of the two conditions is met:



The Rearm type of "On Condition reversed" would cause the alert to rearm each time an inverse cross occurs. If you would like this to trigger based on time, please select e.g. "on bar close".

Last but not least, you may find all sound files in the following directory:

C:\Program Files\NinjaTrader 8\sounds
