I had to do a factory reset on my computer and have been trying to setup the latest version on ninja and having issues. I have a license key from apex and I entered that into the website before I download the install file as instructed. However when I install the desktop platform it does not looks like the first time I setup Ninja. Ninja asks me if I want to trade live cash or simulated trading. When I click simulated trading I do not have the option to configure connections. It doesn't seem like the apex license has taken. Any help would be appreciated.

After launching NinjaTrader and selecting "Simulation", please follow the steps below to enable the Multi-Provider mode, this would enable the additional connections:
Once enabled, you should experience no further issues.
