NT 8.1 and Scripts ?

Is it possible to use written strategies in NT 8.1? Seems that after you get past the login page it just puts you into a manual trading page.

You can use both, ATM strategies and NinjaScript strategies in NinjaTrader 8.1

ATM strategies may be found directly within the order-submitting window, e.g. the SuperDOM or ChartTrader, whereas NinjaScript strategies can be created through the Strategy Builder (New > Strategy Builder).

I'm quite familiar with building strategies of my own on the Editor (thanks, tho). In my brief look at 8.1, it wasn't obvious to me how to put those scripts onto the platform so they would be accessible on a chart (similar to how it's always been done in NT). Please advise.

Thank you very much for your reply.

This method has not changed in NinjaTrader 8.1.

To install third-party scripts, you would have to click on Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-On.

Once installed, they should then be listed within the Strategies tab as well as in the same locations they would have in NinjaTrader 8.0.

You can do this by going to the Control Center -> Help -> Email Support

Please select "Platform Technical Support" as the recipient and enter a brief "ATTN Manfred" note in the message.
