Apex API not returning the expected results but blaming Ninja Trader 8 Platform.

Hi,

I am trying to use Apex API with Ninja Trader 8 and noticed an issue where the Order Filled is incorrect or not what I was expecting. It seems to work correctly using Ninja Trader's Connection

I am using the standard Connection they provide.

I am using NT 8.1.1.7 64-bit on Windows



My first thought was to write to Apex, about their connection but they insist it's a Ninja Trader 8 Platform issue and not their API.


I am hoping that my developer guy is not addressing the issue correctly and it's something easy to fix. If not I hope it does not turn into a finger-pointing contest and nothing gets done about it.

bltdavid is correct, the execution, position, and order updates often come out of sequence.

How was this output created? Is this prints only from OnOrderUpdate() or is this from OnExecutionUpdate()?

Is the filled amount larger than the order amount?

How is the order fill unexpected?
